Curiosity Fair
Curiosity Fair 2020 – CANCELLED
We have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and after much review and consideration, the RIA has decided to cancel the Curiosity Fair in the best interest of all involved.
#RIACuriosityFair
The Curiosity Fair is an annual event hosted by the Research Institute for Aging in partnership with The Village at University Gates long-term care home. This community event brings together people of all ages, from children to older adults. It runs similar to a science fair in that participants present projects they have created on a subject they are curious about – anything from science to technology to art. The purpose of the fair is to spark a curiosity in research and the world around us, connect people of different generations through shared experience and reduce ageism.
If you would like to host your own Curiosity Fair, read our Curiosity Fair Planning Guide to learn about tips and strategies for planning a fair in a long-term care or retirement community.
