CHOICE+ Checklists

The CHOICE+ checklists are designed to help improve the mealtime and dining experiences in long-term care and retirement homes. Developed as part of the CHOICE+ program, each checklist is available in both English and French.
There are two checklists available:
- CHOICE+ Mealtime Practices Checklist helps staff in long-term care and retirement homes incorporate the CHOICE+ principles and improve the mealtime experience.
- CHOICE+ Dining Room Checklist helps staff in long-term care and retirement homes create a comfortable, inviting, and enjoyable dining environment by encouraging staff to reflect on the physical aspects and ambiance of the dining room, and offers some tips and suggestions to improve the experience.
