Topics: Care Team Development, Food and Nutrition, Workforce Development
The Recipe for Healthy Aging resource provides a selection of recipes that feature Ontario-grown foods and cater to the needs and preferences of older adults. There are more than 50 recipes to choose from and each is organized by dish-type (beverages, breakfast, snack, salads, etc).
This resource was supported by Agri-Food and Rural Link, the hub for knowledge translation and transfer for the OMAFRA-University of Guelph Partnership.
The recipe resource was created in collaboration with the RIA’s Agri-food for Healthy Aging program (Hilary Dunn, M.Sc.) and a research team in the Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph (Alison M. Duncan, Ph.D., R.D., Hilary A. Dunn, M.Sc., Emily S. Iler, M.Sc., Kayla K. Miraglia, M.Sc.). References for the resource are available here
